Home Remedies For Wart Removal
By Mark B
Here is another useful article for you:
There are many different home remedies for wart removable and here are some of the more imaginative ones that I have been able to find. Good old apple cider vinegar, which is used for a host of remedies, is also a reputed use for wart removal. Just soak a cotton ball in vinegar and hold it in place with a bandaid. With a few treatments the wart should be gone. There is a variation of this remedy that uses vinegar and baking soda. Duct tape or even scotch tape is also known to get rid of warts. Just put some directly over the wart and the wart should be gone in a week or two.
Some people claim that raw cabbage juice or cabbage added to the diet will cure warts. Why this works is not known but it is harmless and worth a try. Another vegetable that supposedly works is raw un-skinned potatoe. This time you cut the ends off the potatoes and rub them on the wart for five minutes or so. Repeat twice a day for a week. Another food remedy is to file the wart down as far as possible then cover in a raw steak. I don’t recommend eating the steak after!
Garlic, which is used for many home remedies, is also reputedly a cure for warts. Just crush and apply to the wart twice a day. Variations on this theme is to apply duct tape over the crushed garlic.
Some people claim that liquid kelp (which can be bought at the health food store) and applied before bed will kill warts.
Another unusual remedy is to uses banana peel to cover the wart, held in place by tape. Leave on until the peel turn black and the wart should be gone.
Witch hazel, which can be bought in any pharmacy, is also worth trying. Some people have had success taking alfalfa pills. Other, desperate for a cure people, have put toothpaste on their warts with success. Some have used castor oil to cure their warts.
From personal experience, I recommend tea tree oil. When my daughter was small she had a cluster of warts on the soles of her feet. After visiting a dermatologist and buying prescription creams which failed to work, I decided to put tea tree oil to the test and the results were remarkable. After just two or three applications of tea tree oil, the warts just faded away, never to return.

Understanding And Elimination Of Warts
By Mark B
Here is another useful article for you:
Wart is skin ailment that can occur to anyone. Wart is caused by a virus known as Human Papilloma Virus(HPV) which creates quick growth of cell. Wart can be found anywhere on the skin. Warts can also be found on the bottom of the feet and the genitals and when this appears, you should take it seriously.
Commonly, the taking away of the growth is the end of the technique in treating this skin ailment. Nevertheless, some people are more vulnerable to the HPV virus, which can make getting rid of warts totally a bit more hard. For those who seem to fight a constant battle, there are steps you can take in prevention. First, avoid spreading the virus to other parts of your body by combing, brushing, shaving or clipping the area where the growth occurs. As the growths is likely to thrive in a damp environment, so keep your hands as dry as possible and wash them carefully after touching your wart.
Though warts are harmless and many will be off on their own, they can be contagious and annoying enough. Over the counter treatments that contain salicylic acid might be of help in eliminating warts. Your doctor may also suggest treatment alternatives like a stronger medicine that might come in the form of an injection. He may also apply cryotherapy that will freeze the wart with liquid nitrogen or maybe he will suggest light surgery to remove the growth through electro or laser therapy.
Warts usually don’t need additional treatment after the primary growths are removed. Most can identify these growths by a visual diagnosis. If the growth bleeds, grow too quickly or is darker than the rest of the skin, the doctor will require biopsy. Biopsy is a way of simply taking a part of the wart growth and studying the cells under a microscope.
Warts are skin condition caused by HPV. This skin growth is not dangerous but can be very frustrating and contagious. Consequently, people who live with it will try almost everything to eliminate the warts. If you think that you have a wart, select treatment from a number of possible alternatives or talk to your doctor today.
Warts are classically treated with topical acid. Freezing the tissue with liquid nitrogen is also used. This causes a blister, as the blister heals the wart will hopefully come off at that time. However, these wart treatments are not always successful. “In fact, warts may recur after treatment because of activation of latent virus present in healthy skin adjacent to the lesion. Most patients with warts require multiple treatments over a course of several weeks or months. If substantial improvements have not occurred after 3 physician-administered treatments or if complete clearance has not occurred after 6 treatments, a different treatment modality should be used. All medicines used to treat HPV disease are applied topically on cutaneous surfaces. Local skin reactions and pain are common adverse effects.” As noted on WebMd by Dr Peter A Gearhart, Staff Physician, Department of Obstetrics at the Pennsylvania Hospital.
More difficult warts may have to be surgically excised or burned off. Once surgical intervention or chemical acids are used one can expect a scar in that area.
Some individuals can go there whole life without getting a wart, while others get them quite frequently. However, if you do get a wart, you do not want to irritate it or pick it. If you do, the wart will multiply. One wart will become two; two will become four and so on.
The use of medicinal plants is taking an increasingly greater role in the treatment of warts as conventional medicine has few effective solutions. Powerless, and faced with treatment failures, some doctors are actively seeking alternative effective treatments to resolve this inadequacy. Created by competent scientists, our medicinal plant treatments provide real opportunities to safely eliminate warts with encouraging measurable results.
These products help put an end to warts by directly killing the HPV virus, strengthening the immune system, and lifting emotions. Results achieved with these products are more than convincing especially in view of the poor efficacy of allopathic treatments using surgery or classic synthetic medications.
From a general point of view it appears that these wart treatments with documented efficacy to safely remove warts are well poised to become the treatments of choice by medical professionals and individuals seeking a curative effect against warts.

Information On Foot Warts
By Mark B
Here is another useful article for you:
Foot warts, also known as plantar warts, are actually considered as one of the most common skin infections. Foot warts grow on the feet and tend to be found in areas under pressure, such as on the heel and the ball of the foot. As well, they often grow into the deeper layers of the skin because of the pressure that is put onto them, which makes them more persistent and harder to get rid of.
Foot warts are caused by a viral infection. Foot warts, like other kinds of warts are caused by the HPV which infects the outermost layer of skin and then causes the skin cells to grow more rapidly than they are supposed to. The virus is infecting the skin by small cuts or opening on the surface. The virus is then able to spread to other parts of the body, most often resulting in even more warts.
You are most likely to develop foot warts where you have broken skin, such as cuts, hangnails, or scrapes. Food warts are also very common to swimmers, whose feet are not only moist most of the time but also scratched and broken by the rough pool surfaces. Some people are more prone to HPV than others and this fact remains unclear to some experts. Plantar wart is not dangerous but it can be very throbbing. That’s why people will seek treatment to get rid of it immediately when they have one. In the case of plantar warts, earlier treatment will be much more likely to be helpful or you will face constant battle with this warts.
When it comes to the treatment of foot warts, there are actually a number of different options, ranging from mild to more severe. However, as it is impossible to kill the actual virus without killing the cells that the virus has infected, there is no single perfect treatment for these warts. Even laser surgery, which is considered as one of the most serious forms of treatment for foot warts, is not 100% effective, and these treatments are often incredibly time consuming and expensive.
In order to find out what the right forms of treatment would be for you, you really need to see your doctor, so that they can take a look at the warts themselves, see how serious the situation is, and decide on a form of treatment with you. Also remember that you may have to try out several different remedies before something works, especially if your warts have been around for a lengthy period of time.
Plantar warts are treated with same procedures to other types of warts, but since they can be a little bit stubborn, it is a good idea to talk to your doctor before treating a plantar wart. There are various forms of treatments for plantar warts, but what works for one person may not work at all for you. That’s why working together with your doctor and making yourself as informed as possible on the matter is so important in terms of the success of your treatment.
Over-the-counter medications contain a topical application of salicylic acid, which you can find in many commercial products. The solution must be 40% salicylic acid, to make the growth to peel away little by little and go away.
The next helpful treatment is to place a piece of duct tape over the area. The tape will irritate the skin surrounding the plantar warts and finally makes the immune system to work harder to fight the virus. The procedure is very easy. Place the duct tape over the area and leave it for six days, eliminate it, soak it with warm water and use an emery board to eliminate the outer layer. This process should be repeated for two months and actually this process is very thriving to eliminate plantar warts forever.
Liquid nitrogen can be one option to beat plantar wart by freezing it off. This therapy is called cryotherapy. The freezing procedure will leave a swelling over the wart and lift it off of the skin. This way is better done with doctor attendance for it can be a bit painful. This method is not suggested for children as the first option.
However, these wart treatments are not always successful. Once surgical intervention or chemical acids are used one can expect a scar in that area. NaturesPharma’s treatments are truly unique. As they are certified organic they are safer than anything out there and more potent. In comparison with other warts treatments, the mode of action of AntiWarts-Rx as an anti-warts agent is particularly interesting not only in consideration of its ability to inactivate the extra cellular virus at concentration much lower than those in other treatments, but also for its ability to inhibit the cell-to-cell virus diffusion in already infected cells, which makes this product unique and far superior to all others. NaturesPharma’s anti-warts treatments have a well earned reputation as being industry leaders.
Plantar warts are not serious skin disorder, but they can be throbbing. If you think that you have one, talk to your doctor about appropriate treatment options that you can have. If the information mentioned above still not satisfies your need, explore more of the suitable information here in http://www.naturespharma.org.

Methods Used for Wart Removal at Home
By Mark B
Here is another useful article for you:
Before attempting wart removal at home you must have some idea of warts and nature. So let us first learn some facts about warts before learning the removal methods.
Although most warts are benign they can cause a lot of embarrassment to the person who is afflicted by them, especially if they are present in the visible areas of the body. They are caused by different types of viruses that are slow acting. There are at least 60 known types of these viruses, known as Human Papilloma Viruses (HPV). Warts can either appear on the skin singly or in clusters. They are usually of three types – common warts, plantar warts and genital warts.
Because they look unbecoming many people would like to to remove the warts as soon as they appear. There are a variety of treatments available for removal of warts like freezing them out with liquid nitrogen, with salicylic acid, laser surgery, duct tape and do it yourself methods using home remedies. You can either seek professional help for wart removal or you can choose to remove them at home. Both are equally effective. Because it is easy to remove warts at home many people prefer to heal warts the natural way. Doctors called dermatologists are professionally trained to remove warts.
Common warts can be found at any location on the body but they are usually located on the fingers, hands, elbows, forearms, the skin around the nails, face and knees. Commonly they appear on the skin that is exposed to trauma, abrasion or constant friction as they act as entry points for the virus. Common warts are either raised or flat, dry or moist, can have a rough or pitted surface. The viruses that cause common warts are extremely contagious and enter the body by way of the breaks in the skin. They can spread fast if they are picked, trimmed, touched, bitten or cut during shaving. However they generally do not cause pain or itching.
Plantar warts grow on the soles of the feet and on the underside of the toes. They look like calluses but unlike them are soft and can easily bleed when their surfaces are trimmed. They don’t spread to other regions of the body. Genital warts are the soft and moist growths around the penis, vagina, anus, groin and scrotum and in men they grow in the urethra also. They look like tiny cauliflowers red or pink in appearance. They are transferred from person to person through oral, vaginal or anal intercourse. A child born to a mother having genital warts may get the HPV virus. Warts do not appear until after three months of being infected by the HPV virus, during which time they will have spread.
A few of the most used home remedies for treatment of warts are given below:
• Applying fresh Aloe Vera juice directly is useful for dissolving the warts and toning the skin. Thus it can be used as a effective and safe wart remover.
• The fresh milky sap from the leaf or stem of milkweed, a weed that is widespread in North America can be applied directly to the warts once a day and show very good results. The benefit of this procedure is that it does not irritate and does not effect normal skin in any way.
• Proteolytic enzymes contained in papaya, pineapple, figs and babana can help to digest and dissolve the warts and can be used safely for removing warts. The fresh plant sap or concentrate can be used by taping it to the wart for a few hours a day.
• Asparagus, citrus fruits, eggs, onions and garlic have sulfur containing amino acids and their inclusion in the diet can help in preventing the spread of warts.

DIY Wart Removal
By Mark B
Here is another useful article for you:
Warts are a very common problem. They can also be really expensive if you go to the doctor to have them removed. However, if you ignore them, they can enlarge or spread.
There are a number of over-the-counter wart removal systems and medications. The gels, patches, sticks, and liquids work, but they take forever. Who wants to fool with this every day for 2-6 weeks?
Several wart freezing systems have hit the market in the last couple years. These work, but they’re very expensive ($15 to $25 for about 12 treatments). On a per-wart basis, it’s still cheaper than going to the doctor, since each wart usually requires only 1-2 treatments.
What if I told you that you could slash the cost of treatment to just pennies? Would you be interested?
After doing a little research, I discovered that the freezing systems are simply aerosol propellant. That’s some pretty expensive propellant!
You can get very similar results with a $5 can of compressed air, using these steps:
1. Buy a can of compressed air from an office or computer store. This is sold for blowing dust and debris from computers and electronics.
2. Turn the can upside down, hold a cotton swab in front of the opening, and press the trigger.
3. Hold trigger down until the swab is soaked with propellant.
4. Quickly touch the swab to the wart, and hold for 20-30 seconds.
5. Wart should get smaller or disappear within about two weeks.
6. Retreat after two weeks if necessary.
That’s it, other than a few cautions and warnings:
* NEVER spray can near a flame, lit cigarette, or your face.
* NEVER use near eyes or on eyelids.
* NEVER, NEVER, NEVER inhale fumes from any aerosol product, including compressed air.
* Do not overtreat; more is NOT better. Holding swap on skin too long can cause a bad case of freezer burn and permanent scarring.
* Read instructions and warnings on compressed air can
This procedure is not recommended for moles or keratoses, due to the fact that they can be cancerous or pre-cancerous. See your dermatologist for these.
Here’s another DIY wart treatment: Duct tape. Cover the wart with duct tape for six days, then soak the foot in water and rub the wart with an emery board or pumice stone. Repeat the process for a couple of months until the wart goes away. Some believe this irritates the wart and surrounding skin, prompting the body’s immune system to attack.

Types of Warts and Their Treatment With Ayurveda
By Mark B
Here is another useful article for you:
Warts are small skin tumors that can arise unexpectedly and anyplace on the skin. They are generally round in shape and exfoliate like a cabbage. Warts can occur anywhere on the body, but they are more common on the hands and the feet.
Depending on their location and their shape, there are different types of warts. They are: -
(i) Common warts – These occur generally on the hands and the knees. They are simply upraised surfaces on the skin.
(ii) Flat warts – These can occur on the face, hands, legs and knees. These warts are flat and are almost of the color of the skin.
(iii) Filiform warts – These are present only on the face. They may be near the eyelids or the lips. These warts are fingerlike or threadlike in appearance.
(iv) Plantar warts – These are painful warts that are generally formed on the soles of the feet.
(v) Mosaic warts – These are clusters of plantar warts.
(vi) Genital warts – These are warts that grow predominantly on the genital areas.
Medically speaking, warts are harmless. Some warts will heal themselves with time. But even then, people are always trying to remove the warts because it poses a cosmetic problem. Most times, warts can be removed, but they arise again. However, there are many safe ways in Ayurveda to heal warts with a permanent solution.
Warts may be caused due to any of the three doshas. The dosha generally influences where on the body the wart occurs.(1) Useful Herbs for Warts
1. Banyan (Ficus religiosa)
The milky sap obtained from the green leaves of the banyan tree is very effective in the treatment of warts. It helps the skin to become smooth and the wart eventually falls off.
2. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
The dandelion sap is very effective in the removal of warts. The cut end of a dandelion root is rubbed onto the wart so that the milky sap rubs on the warts. Within a few days of this kind of treatment, the wart would fall off.
3. Euphorbia (Euphorbia hirta)
The euphorbia plant is ground into a paste and applied onto the warty skin. The milky juice exuded by this plant is good in the treatment of warts.
4. Indian Sorrel (Oxalis corniculata)
The leaves of the Indian sorrel are effective in the treatment of warts. They can be used in various ways for the purpose. One way is to directly apply a paste of the leaves onto the warts. A poultice of the leaves directly applied over the warts also helps in the treatment. The juice of the leaves can be mixed with several other beneficial ingredients for better results.
5. Rough Chaff (Achyranthes aspera)
The ash of the rough chaff is rubbed over warts as a traditional remedy. It is beneficial in the removal of warts.(2) Dietary Treatments for Warts
There are no specific dietary guidelines in Ayurveda for the treatment of warts.(3) Ayurvedic Treatments for Warts
The Kaseesadi taila is recommended in Ayurveda for the treatment of warts. The rest of the treatment methods pertain to the application of useful herbs with bandages.(4) Home Remedies for Warts
1. Mix the juice of the Indian sorrel plant with some juice of an onion. Apply this on the warts to remove them.
2. Mix the juice of the Indian sorrel with black pepper and ghee. If the warts or excrescences of the skin are caused due to biliousness, then this is a good remedy to eliminate them.
3. Take a teaspoon of juice of the coriander leaves along with a pinch of turmeric in it. Take this on a daily basis.
4. Take a slice of raw potato. Rub it on the wart for about ten minutes each day. This method will help remove the warts.
5. Take the peel of a banana and keep its inner side on the wart. Tie it up like a bandage. Change it twice a day. Keep this constantly on the wart until the wart disappears.
6. Castor oil can be applied regularly on the warts. This will help the warts to become supple and finally disappear. Instead of castor oil, camphor oil can also be used in the same manner.
7. Take a single clove of garlic and crush it, but not very finely. Keep this garlic clove on the wart. Then fix it in that position with a bandage. This helps in the treatment of warts.
8. A similar kind of bandage treatment can be done with the juice of grapefruit also. Put a drop of the fresh grapefruit juice on the wart. Then cover the area with a bandage. Do this three to four times in a day. Continuous application will help the wart to disappear.
9. Apply the oil of the tealeaves onto the warts every night before going to bed. Continue this application for a fortnight. You will find that the wart has slowly dissolved and disappeared.

Comparation Of All Kinds Of Treatments For Warts
By Mark B
Here is another useful article for you:
One of the major skin ailments is wart. The major questions involve what a wart is, how this skin ailment turns out, how to abolish it and other information that people need to know about it. The essential answer about wart is that it’s a raised growth on the surface of the skin or organ. Usually, warts are small and rough tumors that present themselves as raised flesh-like substances which are brown or skin colored. Warts are extremely common, yet strangely amongst the most difficult conditions in dermatology to treat and eradicate.
Warts can occur on any part of your body and are generally round in shape and can develop in clusters. Although they usually occur on the hands or feet, there are still many types of warts developing on other areas of the body. Warts are named depending on the part of the body where they are located or description of the wart. For example a plantar wart would be a growth on the plantar or bottom part of the foot whereas flat warts are basically flat. Venereal warts would be located in the genitals. A periungal wart occurs around the nail. Warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus, HPV, of which almost 200 strains have been identified to date. More strains seem to be discovered year by year. This naughty virus is responsible for most type of warts.
There are several different types of warts which have been identified. These vary in the site affected, shape, and type of HPV. Once cells become infected with HPV, the result is rapid reproduction of HPV cells on the outer layer of the skin. Types of warts include common wart, flat wart, digitate or filiform wart, plantar wart, mosaic wart, genital wart, periungual warts and so on. Warts can be contagious from skin to skin contact. However, flat, plantar and common warts are much less likely to spread from person to person. Regardless, all warts can spread from one part of your own body to another.
As a result, warts should not be left untreated in case that they spread to others. In fact there are some methods effective to treat warts. (1) One of it is by using chemical applications. (2) The other popular way is using salicylic acid which is verified to be strong in abolishing wart. The steps taken to use salicylic acid are as follows. First the wart should be cut with a blade or emery board, and then it should be drenched in warm water for about ten minutes. This will help in the absorption of the medicine. Then, the salicylic acid should be applied to the wart and left to dry. The skin around the wart can be protected with a petroleum jelly but this is not always needed. (3) Another effective process is by using liquid nitrogen that will freeze off the wart. This method should be done by a doctor or by a medical professional, which is usually very easy to abolish warts from the skin but still have to be done with great caution and care.
Most pharmacology efforts now focus on developing a vaccine to inoculate the population in order to stop the HPV virus from infecting the system. This is ideal for the pharmaceutical companies as it would of course reap a monetary windfall of epic proportions for the drug companies, but not useful at all for those already affected with warts.
The medical community has not had success to develop a treatment to successfully eradicate existing infections without causing extensive skin damage, trauma, or relapse. Importantly, China has now banned such vaccinations as they have found injecting a pathogen into your system does just that, it stays in your system, remaining latent in the joints, only to reappear in later years causing horrendous arthritis and or auto immune disorders.
Viruses exhibit rapid rates of mutation which can make immunity difficult to sustain. Once a cell is infected it is difficult to selectively inhibit the virus without harming the host cell. As a result, much interest has focused on plants as strong allies in restoring immune strength and inhibiting the spread of viral diseases. Some of the most impressive results consistently achieved with medicinal plants are in the elimination of warts. The antiviral activities of NaturesPharma’s antiwarts treatments — Antiwarts-Rx are well documented and principally due to their direct effect to eradicate the HPV virus.

Get Treatment of Warts â Quick Relief

Here is another useful article for you:
Liquid nitrogen: Liquid nitrogen or cryotherapy is used to deep freeze the wart tissue. With liquid nitrogen applied to the wart, the water in the cells expands, thus exploding the infected tissue. The exploded cells can no longer hide the human papillomavirus from the body’s immune system. The immune system then works to destroy the virus particles.
Genital warts that are especially large and hard to remove may need to be surgically removed through laser surgery. This type of treatment, though, will require you to go to a trained specialist. Additionally, laser surgery tends to be the most expensive treatment for genital warts.
Treatment involves the physical or chemical destruction of the lesion. In physical destruction, liquid nitrogen, which is extremely cold, is sprayed onto the wart or applied with a cotton-tipped swab. Because freezing is painful, this form of treatment is not tolerated well by young children. Warts can be anesthetized and then scraped (curetted), burned (desiccated), lasered off, or surgically cut out (excised).
The active ingredient in most over-the-counter remedies is salicylic acid, a natural substance found in many plants (willow bark) and most fruits. It can be applied either as a liquid or a patch (I prefer the patch). With regular application, many warts will disappear within 12 weeks. These topical treatments often work best if the surface of the wart is disrupted with warm soaks and/or an emory board before application.
Your doctor may use cantharidin â a substance extracted from the blister beetle â on your warts. Typically, the extract is mixed with other chemicals, painted onto the skin and covered with a bandage. The application is painless, but the resulting skin blister can be uncomfortable. However, the blister has an important purpose. It lifts the wart off your skin, so your doctor can remove the dead part of the wart.
Derived from vitamin A, these medications disrupt your wart’s skin cell growth. Your doctor may prescribe a retinoid cream or an oral medication.
Most warts don’t need to be treated. In children, between 30 and 50 percent of verrucas disappear within six months, although they may last longer in adults. One study found that two thirds of warts disappear on their own within two years.
To help reduce the pain symptoms of herpes and cold sores, including burning, and itching experienced during this stage.
Warts tend to grow rapidly during pregnancy and may become numerous and large. This may be due to a weakened immune system, but there is some evidence to suggest that HPV is influenced by progesterone, which is high during pregnancy. In most cases warts will not interfere with pregnancy or birth but if the warts are very large, they may need to be removed.
The safest treatments during pregnancy are cryotherapy and surgery. In severe cases, if large warts cannot be removed, it may be necessary to have a caesarean section.
Wart medications and patches are available at drugstores. To treat plantar warts, you’ll need a 40 percent salicylic acid solution or patch (Curad Mediplast, Dr. Scholl’s Clear Away Plantar, others), which peels off the infected skin a little bit at a time. Apply the solution once or twice each day, being careful to avoid healthy skin, which can become irritated from the acid. In between applications, pare away the dead skin and wart tissue using a pumice stone or emery board. You may need to repeat this process for up to three or four weeks to completely eliminate warts.
