Treatments For Warts

By Mark B

A wart (also known as verruca) is generally a small, rough tumor, typically on hands and feet but often other locations, which can resemble a cauliflower or a solid blister. Warts are common, and are caused by a viral infection, specifically by the human papilloma virus (HPV) and are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. It is also possible to get warts from using towels or other objects used by an infected person. They typically disappear after a few months but can last for years and can recur.

Warts are caused by a virus called human papilloma virus or HPV. There are approximately 130 strains of human papilloma viruses. Types 1, 2, and 3 cause most of the common warts. Type 1 is associated with deep plantar (sole of the foot) and palmar (palm of the hand) warts. Type 2 causes common warts, filiform warts, plantar warts, and mosaic plantar warts. Type 3 causes plane warts, commonly known as flat warts.

Anogenital warts are caused by types 6, 11, 16, 18, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 39, 40 and others. HPV types 6 and 11 cause about 90% of genital warts cases. HPV types 16 and 18 currently cause about 70% of cervical cancer cases, and also cause some vulvar, vaginal, penile and anal cancers.

Gardasil, a vaccine for HPV is designed to prevent infection with HPV types 16, 18, 6, and 11; it is claimed to prevent infections to other strains of anogenital warts through cross protection against other types of HPVs. HPV is associated with oral cancer, laryngeal cancers, tracheal and lung cancers.

A range of different types of wart have been identified, varying in shape and site affected, as well as the type of human papilloma virus involved. These include:

]]>

Common wart (Verruca vulgaris), a raised wart with roughened surface, most common on hands and knees;

Flat wart (Verruca plana), a small, smooth flattened wart, flesh colored, which can occur in large numbers; most common on the face, neck, hands, wrists and knees;

Filiform or digitate wart, a thread- or finger-like wart, most common on the face, especially near the eyelids and lips;

Plantar wart (verruca, Verruca pedis), a hard sometimes painful lump, often with multiple black specks in the center; usually only found on pressure points on the soles of the feet;

Mosaic wart, a group of tightly clustered plantar-type warts, commonly on the hands or soles of the feet;

Genital wart (venereal wart, Condyloma acuminatum, Verruca acuminata), a wart that occurs on the genitalia.

There are many different treatments and procedures associated with wart removal. One review of 52 clinical trials of various cutaneous wart treatments concluded that topical treatments containing salicylic acid were the best supported, with an average cure rate of 75%, compared with 48% for the placebo in six placebo-controlled trials including a total of 376 participants. The reviewers also concluded that there was little evidence of a significant benefit of cryotherapy over salicylic acid or duct tape.

One complicating factor in the treatment of warts is that the wart may regrow after it has been removed. Once cells become infected with HPV, the result is rapid reproduction of HPV cells on the outer layer of the skin, and cures for warts must act quickly to stop the spread. One all-natural topical warts cure treatment — WartCure exhibits a broad spectrum of action against HPV, the virus that causes warts. It kills HPV and provides a curative effect against warts.

For warts, cures don’t come much better than WartCure. It is established to eradicate and cure warts time after time. It is one of the most powerful and effective topical cures for warts on the market. Results are guaranteed. It is comprised of certified organic medicinal plant extracts and certified organic antiviral essential oils that have been demonstrated to kill HPV in laboratory tests.

Genital Warts Treatments

By Mark B

Human papilloma virus (HPV) infection is the most common sexually transmitted disease. Each year 1 million new cases of genital warts are diagnosed, two thirds of which are in women. The estimated prevalence rate in the US population is 15 percent. HPV infects keratinocytes. Such infection can manifest clinically as genital warts.

These warts are spread through intimate skin-to-skin contact with an infected partner, and often require an immediate HPV cure. Out of about 200 types of HPV identified to date, more than 30 have the ability to infect the genital tract. However, HPV types 6 and 11 are responsible for approximately 90% of all genital warts, and thus are the primary targets for HPV cures.

Genital warts can vary in appearance. They can be very small, can occur in clusters and can develop into large masses in the genital area. They seem to be as prevalent in women as men. They occur either vaginally, on the cervix, or around the anus in females. In men, they usually occur on the tip or shaft of the penis, on the scrotum or around the anus. Genital warts cures must be able to eliminate both the visible symptoms and the causative virus to be truly effective.

Treatment options for genital warts are numerous, well established, and effective. Topical treatments include podophyllin resin, imiquimod, trichloroacetic acid, and podophyllotoxin. Surgical or destructive therapies include carbon dioxide laser, surgical excision, loop excision, cryotherapy, and electrodessication. Interferon can be injected locally or administered systemically to treat genital warts.

Evidence of efficacy in the treatment of genital warts is drawn from randomized blind-controlled trials, prospective studies, and retrospective cohort studies. Evidence of efficacy appears to be good, but more head-to-head studies and comparisons of combination therapies versus monotherapy need to be done. Treatment of choice depends on the number, size, and location of lesions.

]]>

There is little certainty that any approach is more effective than another, however costs differ. It would seem that the first line destructive treatment is cryotherapy, but surgery and electrodesiccation are more effective. The first line topical treatments appear to be podophyllotoxin and imiquimod. Interferon is too expensive and trichloroacetic acid is too inconsistent to be recommended as primary treatment.

It is unclear if combinations of therapies are more effective than monotherapy. Side effect profile, cost, effectiveness and convenience define the choice of therapy. Most doctors use cauterization or freezing as a first option to cure genital warts. Unfortunately, success achieved with this method is often temporary and the warts soon reappear.

For genital warts, cures may involve having to surgically excise or burn them off. After surgical intervention or chemical acids are used, one can expect a scar in that area. As the virus is microscopic and particles under the skin are not visible, doctors cannot possibly be certain if they have effected complete HPV cures by removing all viral microparticles.

Surgical intervention as a HPV cure attempts not only to cut out the virus but also to stimulate tissue inflammation. The theory is that the body will then develop an antibody response to prevent viral recurrence. However, this method to cure genital warts often fails as doctors are unable to remove the virus in its entirety, since it commonly lodges itself deep in the dermal layers of the skin.

Among all the types of genital warts cures, genital surgery subjects the patient to a highly invasive procedure. This method can be most unpleasant and ineffective, and can also create genital scarring. An alternative antiviral treatment is now available which represents a very promising solution to the growing epidemic of genital warts.

HPVCurative is a new, highly effective and potent way to cure genital warts. It is valued for its role in the realm of genital warts cures, and has provided total clearance of the infection time after time. It contains certified organic medicinal plant extracts and antiviral essential oils, which have demonstrated the ability to act as an HPV cure in laboratory tests.

Users of HPVCurative experience rapid elimination of genital warts without scarring or recurrence. The treatment is painless and provides superb results when compare to other HPV cures. It eliminates genital warts and restores skin tissue to the state it was in prior to the infection. Since the treatment can effectively remove genital warts and wart-like substances on the genitals, acid or surgical HPV cures may soon become a thing of the past.

HPVCurative has powerful medicinal properties that give it an amazing ability to reduce tumor growths resulting from HPV. The organic extracts in this treatment also stimulate immune functionality, thereby strengthening the immune system. To learn more, please go to http://www.bcured.net.

Treatments For Plantar Warts

By Mark B

Plantar warts are warts which are caused by a virus that invades the skin through a microscopic cut or abrasion on the sole of the foot, and then continues to grow inward under the skin. All warts are caused by specific viruses. Planter warts can be caught easily from anybody else who is carrying the HPV. Not everyone who has the HPV has warts. Only a few actually develop planter warts. You get this disease by coming in contact with the skin, towels, socks or shoes of anyone who already had this disease.

Planter warts are named because they always grow on the part of the feet called “plantars”. Planter warts grow in the bottoms of your big toes, the ball of your foot and soles. If you have any kind of scratch on your feet, then the virus has a wide open door to enter the body. Children get planter warts more than adults.

It feels as if something is sticking or rubbing against your feet if you have plantar warts. Other signs of planter warts include itchy, very tender feet that makes putting any pressure on them aggravating. Eventually, the skin on the bottom of your feet will get rough and crusty with little black dots. The pressure of your foot flattens them until they become covered by a callus that sometimes has tiny black dots on the surface. If you continue to walk around and not get the warts treated, they will harden under pressure; the harder they get, the worse they are going to feel.

The good news about planter warts is that they are treatable. There are various forms of treatment that are available for plantar warts, including home remedies, the traditional prescription medicine, the surgical method, the natural plant medicine and so on.

One of the best home remedies for plantar warts involves simply practicing with cleanliness. This means taking a bath often, or at the least just washing your feet often, making sure to scrub and clean as best as you can. You may then want to put a wart removing cream on the plantar wart, in hopes that this will be strong enough to remove it. Depending on how long it has been there, this will generally tell you whether or not you will be able to remove it this way.

]]>

Another most commonly used home remedy for plantar warts involves salicylic acid and duct tape. All you have to do here is to buy the salicylic acid at your local drugstore, then put it directly on top of the wart right after you get out of the bathtub or shower, and cover it with duct tape. Once the acid dries, you will see that it will form a hard skin over the wart which is good because it does not rub off like creams often will. Then the next day you want to soak your foot and file down as much as you can off the head of the wart. Usually after a matter of only days the warts will begin to die. You can generally tell when this is happening because the wart will form a dark red to black dot.

Traditionally, warts are classically treated with topical acid. Freezing the tissue w liquid nitrogen is also used. This causes a blister, as the blister heals the wart will hopefully come off at that time. However, these wart treatments are not always successful. “In fact, warts may recur after treatment because of activation of latent virus present in healthy skin adjacent to the lesion. Most patients with warts require multiple treatments over a course of several weeks or months. If substantial improvements have not occurred after 3 physician-administered treatments or if complete clearance has not occurred after 6 treatments, a different treatment modality should be used. All medicines used to treat HPV disease are applied topically on cutaneous surfaces. Local skin reactions and pain are common adverse effects.” As noted on WebMd by Dr Peter A Gearhart, Staff Physician, Department of Obstetrics at the Pennsylvania Hospital.

Treatment can often be done in a doctor or podiatrist office. You usually have to take a test to make sure you have plantar warts and not something else, and then the warts are surgically removed. Firstly, the podiatrist would paint a freezing numbing agent on your feet and swiftly set to work. It should be all done before the anesthesia wears off. After that, you may have to use crutches for a few weeks. However, once surgical intervention or chemical acids are used one can expect a scar in that area.

There are a number of treatments for plantar warts but you may need to try out a few different things before you find one that actually works for you. If nothing seems to be working then you may have to opt for something more serious. At this point you may try CURED’s all natural wart treatment — WartCure; this all natural topical treatment exhibits a rather broad spectrum of action of against HPV, the virus causing warts, meaning that it kills HPV and when used as directed and provides a curative effect against warts. Warts Treatments

By Mark B

Warts are actually benign tumors of the epidermis caused by a virus. The virus responsible is the human papilloma virus (HPV), a double-stranded DNA virus. The virus resides in the bottom layer of the epidermis and replicates into almost normal-looking skin. Different sub-types of HPV cause different types of warts. Some human papilloma virus subtypes also cause cervical cancer and other more obscure types of wart-related cancers.

Warts normally grow out of the skin in cylindrical columns. These columns do not fuse when the wart grows on thin skin such as the face. On thicker skin, the columns fuse and are packed tightly together giving the surface the typical mosaic pattern. Black dots can sometimes be seen in a wart. These are actually blood vessels that have grown rapidly and irregularly into the wart and have thrombosed or clotted off.

Contrary to popular belief, warts do not have “roots”. They only grow in the top layer of skin, the epidermis. When they grow down, they displace the second layer of skin, the dermis. They do not grow into the dermis. The underside of a wart is actually smooth. Warts can occur in people of all ages, but occur most commonly in children and young adults. They spread by direct contact, simply by touching the wart.

Warts normally resolve spontaneously but the time it takes for this resolution is variable. Most warts resolve within weeks or months, but some may take years. It appears that a person’s susceptibility to warts and the time it takes for them to go away is related to the individual’s immune system. People who have immune-related diseases such as AIDS and lymphoma, or who are taking chemotherapy tend to have more warts that last longer.

]]>

Most warts can be treated with simple over-the-counter remedies. For those that are resistant to these measures, other types of treatments are effective. Salicylic acid is a very common and effective over-the-counter treatment, but requires consistent application every day. The best way to use salicylic acid is to first pare the wart with a blade, pumice stone, emory board, or small scrub brush. Soaking the wart in warm water will aid in the absorption of the medicine.

Salicylic acid is applied to the wart and allowed to dry. Normal surrounding skin may be protected with petroleum jelly. Occluding the treated wart with a band-aid or piece of tape also improves the absorption of the medicine. This procedure should be repeated daily ideally around shower or bath time. Salicylic acid can be found in several forms including a thick oil, or incorporated into an adhesive plaster form.

Cryotherapy is another effective treatment of warts. A provider applies liquid nitrogen as a spray or on a cotton swab to the wart. This freezes and kills the effected cells. The connective tissue is not destroyed; therefore, the lesion usually heals without significant scarring. The human papilloma virus is not killed by cryotherapy and is released into the surrounding tissue allowing the immune system to kill it.

A blister typically forms on the site treated, crusts over, and falls off. Since blisters are painful to walk on, cryotherapy is not a first choice for warts on the bottom of the foot. Other medicines may be applied to warts or injected into them include lactic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), formalin, glutaraldehyde, cantharidin, podophyllin, Retin-A, and bleomycin. These treatments should be supervised by a health care provider.

WartCure is an all-natural topical warts cure treatment which exhibits a broad spectrum of action against HPV, the virus that causes warts. It kills HPV and provides a curative effect against warts. New Treatments For Skin Tags

By Mark B

Skin tags are extremely common, affecting up to 50% of the population. The cause of these skin irregularities is yet to be determined. Even though skin tags are actually small skin tumors, they are benign and harmless. Since they contain nerve cells, contact with clothing or jewelry, shaving, or just touching them can cause irritation.

Skin Tags are commonly found around creases or folds in the skin but can occur just about anywhere on the body. They often appear as flat or thin cylindrical shaped flesh-like growths protruding from the skin. They can develop in clusters or individually. Skin tags vary in size and appearance – some are as small as a grain of rice, while others are as large as a walnut! In medical terms they are known as acrochordon or pedunculated papilloma.

Tags are generally acquired (not present at birth) and may occur in anyone; more often they arise in adulthood. Hormones also seem to be a factor (ex:pregnancy). They are thought to arise more readily in areas of skin friction or rubbing.

If you don’t feel confident about diagnosing skin tags, see a dermatologist before attempting to treat yourself. There are numerous other, more serious, skin problems that may require more serious attention and different treatment than skin tags. include moles, warts, freckles, and general skin damage from sun or chemicals.

Medical ways to remove: scissors, freezing, and burning (doctor’s office). Self-treatments, including tying off the small tag stalk with a piece of thread or dental floss and allowing the tag to fall off over several days.

So basically when it comes down to how to remove skin tags, the best thing obviously is to just let a doctor remove it. But if you want to save money, be sure to research the various home remedies floating about and make sure there are testimonials from others that can vouch for their effectiveness. If the method is tried and true it just might save you a visit to your doctor and an unwanted bill.

You’ve probably read about many home remedies for skin tags and are wondering if these are safe to do at home. You certainly don’t want to contract an infection or cause yourself to have a lot of bleeding. But the thing is, most of these home remedies are quite safe. The only thing you have to worry about is sometimes if your skin tag is too large they won’t work. But as long as your skin tags are very small you should have no problems using the home remedies to get rid of your tags.

So feel free to try any of the home remedies that you see online as long as they don’t sound too crazy, and that way you can avoid going to the doctor and paying a huge doctor bill for something that you can take care of at home. Be sure to sterilize any instruments you might use, have bandages available for excessive bleeding, and watch for infection.

I have done some research online and found some people simply snip off the little buggers. Apparently you can also tie a string around them and cut off the blood supply, causing them to fall off. I am actually not sure if this method would really work or not but it is one of the home remedies that is out there floating around, so apparently some have tried it and had success. On researching further, I found another account of someone who mentioned they placed nail polish on their tag and it fell off after a few days.

SkinTagCure represents a safe and effective alternative to the invasive procedures. It is a new all natural, certified organic topical treatment that works quickly to eliminate skin tags. Its effectiveness against skin tag is supported by published scientific studies.

Treatments For Removing Skin Tags

By Mark B

Skin tags on your body can cause some irritation, but they are usually a harmless skin growth. The skin tags on your body appear as a growth on the end of a small stalk. The areas of the body that are most commonly afflicted with skin tags are the neck, eyes and underarms. Some people have tags on other areas of the body including under the breast. Areas of the body that develop tags are places where the skin rubs against itself. The growths may also appear where the skin rubs against clothing.

The growths usually develop over time and most of the sufferers of these growths are in their middle age. Children sometimes develop skin tags in areas where the skin becomes irritated as well. Some believe that the friction created by rubbing skin is what causes the skin tags to grow and develop. Obese patients are commonly afflicted with the growths.

The growths are not dangerous and most people do not have an underlying condition responsible for skin tags. They can affect almost anyone regardless of health. It is a non cancerous skin growth that is sometimes called a tumor. Some people find them irritating to the skin. But the problem usually does not extend beyond simple skin irritation.

People choose to have your tags treated or removed because of their appearance in most cases. They may also be removed if they are causing irritation to the skin or bleeding because of rubbing against clothing or other areas of the body. The tag may become irritated if the stalk becomes twisted. The skin growths eventually die when the stalk becomes irritated. A tag may bleed if it becomes irritated enough. For most people, however, the skin tag causes no other symptoms at all.

Skin may be removed by cutting the growths off with a pair of scissors. In the doctors office one of the methods is liquid nitrogen, which freezes the growths off the body. Cutting off the growth may result in scarring or bleeding. A freezing technique may not cause the growth to completely fall off the body. Some tags can leave a discoloration on the skin after a tag is removed. The skin around the tag may be discoloured as well.

Some people remove their tags by tying a piece of string around the growth and waiting for the growth to die. The string cuts off the supply of blood to the growth which kills the tag. Cauterization is another method that dermatologists use to remove a tag. An electric current is applied to the growth and the tag is effectively burned off the body. You may need an eye doctor to remove a tag that is located in the eye area. Most skin tags can be removed by a dermatologist.

This skin condition is a relatively harmless condition that cause more irritation because of their appearance than any other symptom. You can choose to remove them with the help of a doctor or on your own.

Natural Treatments For Genital Warts

By Mark B

Genital warts (or Condyloma, Condylomata acuminata, or venereal warts, also anal wart or anogenital wart) is a highly contagious sexually transmitted infection caused by some sub-types of human papilloma virus (HPV). It is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner.

Warts are the most easily recognized symptom of genital HPV infection. They can be caused by strains 6, 11, 30, 42, 43, 44, 45, 51, 52 and 54 of HPV; types 6 and 11 are responsible for 90% of genital warts cases. Less than 1% of those infected develop clinically obvious warts, but those infected can still transmit the virus, although another source states that 70% of those who have sexual contact with an infected partner develop genital warts. Other types of HPV also cause cervical cancer and probably most of anal cancers.

Genital warts often occur in clusters and can be very tiny or can spread into large masses in the genital or penis area. In other cases they look like small stalks. In women they occur on the outside and inside of the vagina, on the opening (cervix) to the womb (uterus), or around the anus.

They are approximately as prevalent in men but the symptoms may be less obvious. When present, they usually are seen on the tip of the penis. They also may be found on the shaft of the penis, on the scrotum, or around the anus. Rarely, genital warts also can develop in the mouth or throat of a person who has had oral sex with an infected person.

The viral particles are able to penetrate the skin and mucosal surfaces through microscopic abrasions in the genital area, which occur during sexual activity. Once cells are invaded by HPV, a latency (quiet) period of months to years may occur. HPV can last for several years without a symptom. Having sex with a partner whose HPV infection is latent and demonstrates no outward symptoms still leaves one vulnerable to becoming infected. The immune system eventually clears the virus through interleukins, which recruit interferons, which slow viral replication.

]]>

Gardasil (sold by Merck & Co.) is a vaccine that protects against human papilloma virus types 16, 18, 6, and 11. Types 6 and 11 cause genital warts, while 16 and 18 cause cervical cancer. The vaccine is preventive, not therapeutic, and must be given before exposure to the virus type to be effective, ideally before the beginning of sexual activity. The vaccine is widely approved for use by young women; it is being tested for young men and has been approved for males in some areas, such as the UK.

There is no cure for HPV, but there are methods to treat visible warts, which could reduce infectivity, although there are no trials studying the effectiveness of removing visible warts in reducing transmission. Genital warts may disappear without treatment, but sometimes eventually develop a fleshy, small raised growth. There is no way to predict whether they will grow or disappear.

Warts can sometimes be identified because they show up as white when acetic acid is applied, but method is not recommended on the vulva because microtrauma and inflammation can also show up as acetowhite. Magnifying glasses or colposcope may also be used to aid in identifying small warts. Depending on the size and location of the wart and other factors, a doctor will offer different ways to treat them. Almost all treatments can potentially cause depigmentation or scarring.

Genital warts cures must be able to eliminate both the visible symptoms and the causative virus to be truly effective. HPVCurative is a new, highly effective and potent way to cure genital warts. It is valued for its role in the realm of genital warts cures, and has provided total clearance of the infection time after time. Results are guaranteed.

Various Treatments For Plantar Warts

By Mark B

There are a number of treatments that you can seek in order to have your Plantar warts treated or removed:

You can have warts removed by an electric current that burns them away from the skin. This is called Electro-surgery. This is likely to hurt you and you will continue to be sore for some time after this procedure. You will also be left with a scar.

Laser treatment can be used to destroy the warts. This is another painful way to have your warts removed and it can take a very long time for the resultant wounds to close and heal. You will also probably need to visit the doctor for more than one session of laser treatment which can cost a lot of money.

You can use duct tape to rip the warts off your skin. Initially you would leave the tape on your skin for a few days whilst the wart softens. Then the tape would be ripped away, taking the wart with it.

Your wart can be soaked in warm water to soften it before you then scrub it over firmly with a piece of pumice. This is a long process that you will need to repeat daily for around three months.

Your immunity can be boosted by an injection which is administered to the wart. This will help your body to fight the virus that causes the warts. There are also other injections that can be given to destroy the virus itself so that the wart will die and disappear. The injections can be uncomfortable when they are undertaken and can also cause irritable reactions on the skin.

Alternatively, some natural treatments can be used. These types of treatment have been passed down through generations and so used for a long time. They are very affective and because they are made from gentle products, are not harmful in any way. If you choose to do some research you will find that it is easy to find many home treatment methods that will solve the problem of your stubborn warts.

Overview Of Common Genital Warts Treatments: Podophyllum resin and Bichloracetic acid treatments

By Mark B

Those suffering from genital warts should be made aware of most discouraging fact that no cure for this infection is made possible yet. Research projects are underway and developments seen around the glob to find permanent genital wart cure have not found any option yet. Some websites claim complete cure but they simply befool sufferers by treating external genital wart appearances. They don’t offer permanent solution to eliminate this virus that has causal relationship with genital warts.

Human papillomavirus causes genital warts. Also called HPV, this virus causes warts which are mostly harmless and are not painful in initial stage. Once these warts are pulled or pinched unbearable pain starts. Many genital wart remover creams are available which eliminate such warts without causing pain. But the major problem is that they may reoccur after certain period. Genital warts can’t reoccur if HPV virus is killed properly. But the unfortunate thing is that medical science has still not investigated such devices or medicine yet which may kill this virus. Efforts are still continue though.

In genital warts treatments doctors usually recommend Podofilox gel or Podophyllum resin. As Podophyllum resin comes with side effects and may causes some burning sensation nearby the area where it is applied doctors always advise to use a bit petroleum jelly in the genital warts to lessen such sensation. As petroleum jelly doesn’t retort with Podophyllum resin it is helpful in protecting skin from any bad impact from this specific medicine.

The Podophyllum resin is arguably one of the best genital wart remover that is effective and low on cost. When compared with the other surgical methods of genital wart removal, the Podophyllum resin treatment is very less expensive. The effective rate of the Podophyllum resin treatment is also very high. The Podophyllum resin treatment is effective in approximately 45 to 77, but there is no 100 percent guarantee and the genital warts may resurface after few months.

For the Podophyllum resin treatment, the doctor will first apply the petroleum jelly around the area of the genital warts and then apply the Podophyllum resin on the genital warts. When the doctor applies the Podophyllum resin on the genital warts, you may feel a little burning sensation so you may have to bear it for a while. After the application of the Podophyllum resin, you may have to wait for a 3 to 4 hours. After 3 to 4 hours, the doctor will wash off the Podophyllum resin and then wipe the infected area dry.

Podophyllum resin treatment takes 6 weeks to destroy genital warts unlike surgery which may bring immediate result on the genital warts. It must be noted that application of Podophyllum resin should be followed by highly skilled and trained doctors or health professionals. This treatment requires patience and commitment. If you are not known to such treatment procedure you should remain away from trying it by your own. Possibility is that you may damage your skin and other tissue in genital areas which is too much sensitive.

Remember that Podophyllum resin is meant for external use only. It can’t be used internally or applied in vagina or anus that may create further problems. Bichloracetic acid is other external treatment option. Though this acid is not effective like Podophyllum resin but it is best choice for direct application on genital warts. Result of Bichloracetic acid is seen immediately. If affected area is larger where genital warts spread have cotton-tipped applicator and dip it in Bichloracetic acid before applying.

An added advantage in the application of Bichloracetic acid treatment is that it doesn’t require petroleum jelly or anesthesia. There is lesser pain involved with it during application and little tingling sensation is felt by patients while this acid is applied. Such sensation is bearable easily which occurs for a short period. Usually it is instructed to cleanse genital wart areas with warm water once Bichloracetic acid is applied. This acid is diluted through warm water so that it doesn’t come in contact with sensitive genital are skins.

Either you go for Podophyllum resin treatment or the Bichloracetic acid both are safer options and they also have least side effects unlike surgical methods which should be applied only when above mentioned treatments fail to cure. Your doctor will have no choice except using surgical method which is highly painful as last treatment option for genital warts.

Comparation Of All Kinds Of Treatments For Warts

One of the major skin ailments is wart. The major questions involve what a wart is, how this skin ailment turns out, how to abolish it and other information that people need to know about it. The essential answer about wart is that it’s a raised growth on the surface of the skin or organ. Usually, warts are small and rough tumors that present themselves as raised flesh-like substances which are brown or skin colored. Warts are extremely common, yet strangely amongst the most difficult conditions in dermatology to treat and eradicate.

Warts can occur on any part of your body and are generally round in shape and can develop in clusters. Although they usually occur on the hands or feet, there are still many types of warts developing on other areas of the body. Warts are named depending on the part of the body where they are located or description of the wart. For example a plantar wart would be a growth on the plantar or bottom part of the foot whereas flat warts are basically flat. Venereal warts would be located in the genitals. A periungal wart occurs around the nail. Warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus, HPV, of which almost 200 strains have been identified to date. More strains seem to be discovered year by year. This naughty virus is responsible for most type of warts.

There are several different types of warts which have been identified. These vary in the site affected, shape, and type of HPV. Once cells become infected with HPV, the result is rapid reproduction of HPV cells on the outer layer of the skin. Types of warts include common wart, flat wart, digitate or filiform wart, plantar wart, mosaic wart, genital wart, periungual warts and so on. Warts can be contagious from skin to skin contact. However, flat, plantar and common warts are much less likely to spread from person to person. Regardless, all warts can spread from one part of your own body to another.

As a result, warts should not be left untreated in case that they spread to others. In fact there are some methods effective to treat warts. (1) One of it is by using chemical applications. (2) The other popular way is using salicylic acid which is verified to be strong in abolishing wart. The steps taken to use salicylic acid are as follows. First the wart should be cut with a blade or emery board, and then it should be drenched in warm water for about ten minutes. This will help in the absorption of the medicine. Then, the salicylic acid should be applied to the wart and left to dry. The skin around the wart can be protected with a petroleum jelly but this is not always needed. (3) Another effective process is by using liquid nitrogen that will freeze off the wart. This method should be done by a doctor or by a medical professional, which is usually very easy to abolish warts from the skin but still have to be done with great caution and care.

Most pharmacology efforts now focus on developing a vaccine to inoculate the population in order to stop the HPV virus from infecting the system. This is ideal for the pharmaceutical companies as it would of course reap a monetary windfall of epic proportions for the drug companies, but not useful at all for those already affected with warts.

The medical community has not had success to develop a treatment to successfully eradicate existing infections without causing extensive skin damage, trauma, or relapse. Importantly, China has now banned such vaccinations as they have found injecting a pathogen into your system does just that, it stays in your system, remaining latent in the joints, only to reappear in later years causing horrendous arthritis and or auto immune disorders.

Viruses exhibit rapid rates of mutation which can make immunity difficult to sustain. Once a cell is infected it is difficult to selectively inhibit the virus without harming the host cell. As a result, much interest has focused on plants as strong allies in restoring immune strength and inhibiting the spread of viral diseases. Some of the most impressive results consistently achieved with medicinal plants are in the elimination of warts. The antiviral activities of NaturesPharma’s antiwarts treatments — Antiwarts-Rx are well documented and principally due to their direct effect to eradicate the HPV virus.
